At Lohmiller, we strongly believe in giving back to our community.

Habitat for Humanity Partnership

Bryant Colorado is proud to have a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Colorado. Bryant Colorado will donate a new, high efficient furnace to every home built by Habitat for Humanity in Colorado, ensuring comfortable homes for more than 125 families in need of decent and affordable housing.

Lohmiller & Company has donated over 125 furnaces to Habitat for Humanity.

Our employees are also encouraged to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity in something we call “Volunteer Days”.  Employees will either donate their time at a warehouse helping to prefabricate for the homes being built, or we will work on the home site for the day.

Ronald McDonald House – Colorado Springs

Lohmiller & Company was proud to partner with Bruce Heating to provide the new Ronald McDonald House located in Colorado Springs with a HVAC system to keep the 25,000 square foot facility comfort for the families staying at the facility.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado offers a 20-room home next to UCHealth’s Children’s Hospital of Colorado.  The house allows families to access specialized medial treatment by providing a place to stay at little or sometimes no cost.

Bonfils has served as Colorado’s community blood center since 1943.  Since 2017, our employees are welcome to donate on our four donation days per year at our Denver location. We encourage branch employees to donate at a local blood bank– any metro area employee can walk into Bonfils and have their donation labelled for Lohmiller & Company’s drive.

In 2019, we collected:

  • June: 21 pints, helping 63 Coloradoansbonfils

We made a positive impact on 237 families last year, and we fully intend to raise that number to over 400 in 2018, and in 2017 we collected 78 pints and helped 168 Coloradoans and 69 Las Vegas concert goers.

Coats for Colorado Donation Drive

Coats for Colorado works to provide warm winter coats at no cost to Coloradoans of all ages. Since its establishment in 1982, Coats for Colorado has donated over 2,000,000 coats to Colorado citizens. Lohmiller & Company has been a part of Coats for Colorado since 2016.

At Lohmiller & Company, we host a Coats for Colorado drive every November and collect coats at all four of our branches—Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and Englewood.  Employees, dealers, friends, and family help us to make a difference in the homeless community with their donations.

Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue 5K supportRMLR

The Rocky Mountain Lab rescue is a 100% volunteer run 501c3 nonprofit that rescues and rehomes Labradors and Labradors mixes. Started in 2007, RMLR has found loving homes for over 2200 dogs.
Their annual 5K is one of the their biggest fundraisers and Lohmiller supports their efforts by continuously participating in the 5K walk / run as part of our wellness program. All proceeds from the event go to helping the dogs that RMLR rescues.

Because of Becca Foundation – Leftover

Turkey Trot

Lohmiller also participates in the annual Leftover Turkey Trot, which occurs the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  The Because of Becca Foundation’s mission is to spread smiles by helping kids, families and communities take time to play, laugh, and make memories together. We believe in a work-hard, play-hard mindset just like BBF does, and we are proud to participate in their events.

Rugged Maniac – American Cancer Society

American Cancer Society aims to accelerate progress so that three in four people survive the disease within the next 20 years – but this will only be possible if enough people support fundraising events like Rugged Maniac. With this in mind, Lohmiller participates in the Rugged Maniac, an obstacle course / mud run that happens in Denver every August.

Lohmiller & Company has been a part of the rugged Maniac since 2013.

Growing Home – Erin Go Braugh 7.77k Race

Growing Home of Westminster houses the homeless, feeds families, and helps children succeed in our community. Growing Home’s mission is to guide children and their families on the path to a brighter future.  Erin Go Braugh 7.77k is a race that occurs in March every year near St. Patrick’s Day, making it known as the “luckiest race for the luckiest runners”. In registering and donating through Growing Home, Lohmiller helps to make our homeless community more comfortable.
